Didn't read HP or see many of the movies, so there's no HP connection for me.
Having said that, I don't really like the name at all. Nevil is slightly better. But then you are looking right at N-Evil.

HP is the first thing that comes to mind, but I don't think that's a bad connection - Neville is a strong, funny, courageous character. I think it'd be an interesting name to have, but like you said - there aren't too many nickname options.That wouldn't bother me too much, but if it does for you, maybe it would be better suited to a middle spot.Mummy to two little princes born 16/1/14
