    Honest opinions on 'the combo'

DF and I have finally discussed and agreed to a girls (and boys name). I'm in love with it, even though it wasn't really a name on my radar before our talk. What do you think of Matilda May McEwen 'Millie'?

A little back story: My great grandmother was named Gertrude May Matilda. DF's mother has the middle name May and Fiancé wanted to honour her. Both my great grandfather and his father had the middle name Mille after a station that they lived near and I always wanted a fuller name for Millie and didn't like any of the more normal options.

So, what do you think? Does it work?

It's lovely - can I just ask if McEwen is the surname? Sorry, it's just that I have a family surname middle, so I'm always unsure about what is a second middle or a surname or not. Either way, it's gorgeous.

Matilda May has a jolly and spunky sound to it! I usually don't like alliteration (certainly not MMM initials) but for some reason, this is an exception! Matilda McEwen is pretty!
    All the best,
    Mischa.
