I like Alexandria. I would generally prefer Alexandra, but I have a very awesome, very hilarious coworker whose name is Alexandria "Lex", and I love her. haha. Plus, I like its versatility, classicness, and timelessness. Allie, Alex, Lex, Lexi, Annie, Ria, Dia, Andra, Andey, Xandra, Alexa, etc. Plus, I was very nearly an Alexandra, so I feel a bit of a partiality to the name. (I would have invariably been an Alex, but I probably would have tried to change it to Allie or Annie once I figured out how versatile nns could be!)
Aries, to me, is a boys' name, but I do love the nn Ari. Aura is too new-agey for me, but I do like Ariana/Arianne. Augusta has always seemed harsh to me, but is a lovely name, and is so southern-belle-ish.
In no particular order. And that is by no means an exclusive list--my full-full list is on my laptop, whose screen has been cracked for weeks now. Once I save enough money, maybe I can get it fixed and see my full list again, haha. My very favorite of them all is Arianne, and if I had to pick five favorites, they would be:
I also REALLY like Aurelia/Aurelie and Adalet (and Adaya and Adora!).

I like Alexandria best, followed by Augusta. Strong, stately names.
I also love Alexandrina but admit that it's clunky.
My A list is probably:
Ada, Adina, Alice, Amaryllis, Amity, Amy, Andromeda, Annabel, Araminta, Ariadne, Ariella, Aurora, Aviva, Ayla, Ayelet, Azalea, Azriela.
I'm not sure how I'd go about cutting that down to Top Five. Some of them don't work with my surname though, and my husband hates a couple, that's "helpful" I guess.
