    love some help please

    Hello,

I would love some help on a name for our baby girl (due april 2014).

Our son is Jonas. We live in Europe, are non-native English speakers.

For our baby we will use the following middel names: A.ndrea W.ilhelmina E.milie (in this order and non-negotiable ). Our last name starts with G, (soft sounding g) and is two syllabes.

I am trying to avoid anything with a g or g-sound, with a K or K-sound or starting with a J. I like classic names, with nice meanings, but if necessary with a twist.

    At the moment, I have:

Louise (around top 100 in our country)
    Rosita or Rosetta
    Leonie
    Livia
Evita (Eva and Evy are very popular here)
    Valerie
    Matilda

Do you have any suggestions for us to add, or preferences on the list above? I love Olivia, but it is way to popular.

    Thank you!

Great list, I love Louise, Leonie, Livia, Evita, Matilda and Rosetta. All are beautiful with Jonas too, my favourite is Louise though. It's difficult to know what to suggest not knowing the country you live in, but I'm taking a wild guess at the Netherlands based on the names on the list.

    My suggestions:
    Daphne "laurel"
    Elska "love"
    Elvira "all true"
    Erle "nobleman"
    Hedda "battle"
Isolde "under the hillside" or "ice ruler"
    Linnea - a flower
    Lucia "light"
    Manon "beloved"
    Marike/Marieke "beloved"
Ronja - invented for the children's story
    Selma "God protection"
Silke "the way of the blind"
    Stella "star"
    Tilda "strength in battle"
    Tiril - a flower
    Vilde - "elf battle"

Thank you! Your guess is right by the way

I love Linnea and Isolde and Stella from your list. Daphne has been on the list, but due to some too strong negative associations, unfortunately it is now definately off.
