I voted for Rowan Lyla because I think it sounds better than Maeve Lyle! Although, individually I prefer Maeve as a first name because Rowan will always be a boy's name to me.

I find both names to be beautiful and smart on an adult women. Which sounds the best with your surname? As your daughter grows, her first + last combo will become her personal brand. How will Maeve _____ sound when she introduces herself as opposed to Rowan _____?

I love Maeve! Rowan is too boyish for me.

It depends on what kind of feel you want. If you want energetic and girly, choose Maeve. If you want outdoorsy and boyish, choose Rowan. The contrast between Rowan and Lyla is a little off to me, so I voted for Maeve Lyla.
