How to get to Mel?
I love the nickname Mel, but I don't particularly love any of the names associated with it, (Melanie, Melody). I do like Melissa, but is that too 90's? Also, I have a friend named Melissa, would it be weird to add that name to my list? Also not a fan of the "issa" sound.
I love Mel because it sounds so fresh, fruity, fun, uplifting and playful. I can't say the name without smiling. I picture Mel as a happy, nature oriented girl. She loves to play in the woods, and go swimming. She likes all animals, especially fish, and wants to become a marine biologist when she's older.
Can you think of any other names that have the same feeling as Mel? What full names could go with the nickname Mel? No, I'm not interested in just going with "Mel" as a full name. I believe people should have a strong first name with a fun nickname.
