    Thank you all, I will run these by my husband. Neither of us loves Lillian the most, I just really like it in combination with James because I was very close to my great-grandparents growing up. The problem is I would not call her Lillian and even though I've settled on Lou as my favorite nn for it, I would prefer for my daughter to have a name or at least nickname that nobody else she knows will have.

    I do love Daisy for Marguerite, but its popularity as a given name in recent years makes me nervous. Plus, my heart is set on Maple (it has special meaning for me). Of course, he hates it

    I forgot about Laurel and Marigold, both have been on my list before. Goldie is so cute.
