    I wouldn't worry about it--it's a beautiful name that relates to so much more than "the lady who ate the apple". The Biblical Eve is such an interesting character to me--the whole creation story is--but the name definitely stands on its own as well.
    Current favorites: Olive, Louise/Louisa, Magdalene/Madeline, Phillipa, Talitha, Mallory, Blythe, Eliza, Mercy, Talia; Calvin, Charles, Gideon, Abram, Jude, Reuben, George, Reid, Clark, Holden.
