Let's turn this around.
Do you think Ella makes a sweet boy's name? What about Ellen? After all, Eli and Elijah begin with the same two letters. The "en" ending is almost exclusively masculine. But I'm pretty sure that if I posted on NB announcing that I was going to name my son Ellen, people would treat it as a joke at best, an aberration at worst.
So how is naming a girl Elliot any different?Simon Valor | Eloise Faye | Judah Sage | Thea Marina | Felix Orion | Iris Cordelia | Roscoe Benjamin | Lydia Wren | Jasper Conroy | Phaedra Naomi | Adrian Bruno | Lucinda 'Indie' Jane | Wallace Finnegan | Sylvie Winifred | Charles 'Charlie' Elliot | Juniper Sophie | Julian 'Jules' Atlas | Matilda Sailor | Marlowe Charles | Alice Elizabeth | Jack Mariner | Marigold 'Maggie' Susan
