    Bring On The Compound Names!

Hello Berries, it's been a rather frustrating day here on Nameberry so I thought it would be fun to discuss our favourite compound names (aka blended names or smooshes). I know many of you don't like this style but there are some well-established and legitimate names out there to love. I don't care for the trend of adding "lyn" at the end of every name or word but different strokes for different folks. Here are some of my faves. I have grouped them together under various titles but I'm sure I've missed some good ones. Would anyone like to share any other gems?

    The “Belles”

    Georgiana
    Pollyanna
    Ruthann
    The “Lees”

    Coralie
    Adalie
    Novalee/Novalie

    The “Roses”

    Rosemary/Rosemarie

    Rosabeth

    The “Hyphens”

Lovely idea, Mischa! I'm about to fall asleep but wanted to mention Belphoebe and Dorabel.

@Ottilie, you see I knew I would miss some gems. Belphoebe is lovely! Dorabel sounds like adorable which isn't a bad thing. Nighty nighty and sweet dreams!
    All the best,
    Mischa.
