    Lead-weights that land with a thud ...

... are the names that intrigue me most lately.

    Examples:

Agatha, Antonia, Augusta, Benedicta, Bernardine, Cornelia, Edwina, Georgina, Henrietta, Josephine, Philomena, Rosamund, Thomasina, Wilhelmina, Winifred

Could you help me think of more as heavy or heavier than these?
"Close your eyes and think about it.

Which name do you really, really love the most?

Go with the one that makes you smile every time you say it."

My grandmother and her mother both had heavy names to me: Gertrude and Octavia.

I love some of those a lot! I love a name with weight.

Gytha, Theodora, Nerida, Romilda, Rosmerta, Ceridwen, Leocadia, Angharad, Andromeda, Ingrid, Zelda, Desdemona, Alexandrina, Jocasta, Lucasta.

For whatever reason, the letter d seems to really lend some gravity.
