    Turkish Names

Looking to fill a tall order on this one...been reading posts on this site and you all seem very helpful!

My husband is Turkish so we are looking for name that is easy to pronounce in Turkish and also in English as we are Canadian. We just can't agree on the few boring names we found on our so are hoping for some fresh ideas. Looking for Boy names, Girl names and are open to unisex names as well. We would prefer for that name to not have a strong religious connotation as we are not religious.

    Thanks everyone!

I don't know if it counts as good and simple, or a bit tired, but I love Ayla, pronounced like Isla.

    The meaning is pretty too.

I also like Iskender but I suspect that is on the boring side?

I am not sure what the names mean but I went to school with Turkish sisters named Zeynip and Zeren. Zeynip may be a bit out there, but I think Zeren fits in very well with the English speaking world. Good luck!
