Need names that fit our naming style...
We currently have two sons, Quentin & Desmond, and are expecting a third (gender unknown) in the spring. If you had to classify our style I'd say we like established names that you would have heard before, but you don't hear every day.
Names we currently are considering:
Girl: Whitney, Mallory
Boy: Malcolm, Marshall
Please help us expand our list of choices. Any suggestions for more names that would fit with our current family?

Wow, what incredibly handsome names your sons have. It's easy to recommend more stylish names for boys like that: Sebastian, Julian, Miles, Edward (I would have said Edmund, but it's too close to Desmond), Hugh, Rupert, etc. For girls, it's harder. For me, Mallory and Whitney are 80s names and don't really go with your boys names. But maybe your girl style is just different from your boys! That's totally fine. If I were to recommend some girl's names to go with Desmond and Quentin I would suggest Margaret/Marguerite, Genevieve, Julia, Audrey, Cassandra, etc.
More names like Mallory and Whitney that might go a bit better: Amanda, Christine, Caroline, Megan.Names I enjoy:
Girls: Lucy, Elena, Lake, Sylvie
Boys: Jack, Eamon, Sylvan, Theo

Quentin, Desmond, Malcolm, and Marshall are all fabulous names -- strong, handsome offbeat classics. Whitney and Mallory, on the other hand, are very dated to the 80's. I think these girls names would work much better with your boys, while still keeping with your style:
Maura or Mara
Daria or Dahlia or Delia
And for boys:
Miles or Milo
Abraham or Abram
Edward nn Ned
Do you like any of these?Simon Valor | Eloise Lily | Judah Sage | Thea Marina | Felix Orion | Iris Cordelia | Roscoe Benjamin | Lydia Wren | Jasper Conroy | Phaedra Naomi | Adrian Bruno | Lucinda 'Indie' Jane | Wallace Finnegan | Sylvie Winifred | Charles 'Charlie' Elliot | Juniper Faye | Julian 'Jules' Atlas | Matilda Sailor | Marlowe Charles | Alice Elizabeth | Jack Mariner | Marigold 'Maggie' Susan

Malcolm would be perfect with Quentin and Desmond. I don't think Marshall, Whitney and Mallory fit stylistically with your boys. I agree with sparrowfinch that they are very 80s.
