    Honestly, I like Lulu as a nickname for any name with starts with "L." I have a cousin named Laura that my family called Laura Lu when she was little, and now we call her Lulu almost exclusively.

    @southern_maple That is a very good point that I actually didn't think of. I get called Gigi by one friend as my name begins with a G so that reasoning makes perfect sense. I'm happy to hear of another beautiful Lulu in the world

    @alexa400 some great suggestions there, I like Luella and really like Kelula.

    @flyingcube I love Alouette but wonder if that darn song ruined the name Alouette is beautiful and has a beautiful meaning
