    Vintage nicknames as full names?

My full name is Mattie JoHannah. My parents named me after my dad’s aunts Mathilda and JoHannah, but Mathilda said there was no way they were forcing Mathilda on a girl born in 1999, so they picked Mattie as an alternative. I actually like my name, but I hate that people always misspell it like Maddie.

So this got me thinking about vintage nicknames. Anybody have ones they like? Or are you like me and have one yourself?

    I thought of others:

Nickname names are really common in my country names like Ellie and Alfie are soo popular that this fashion is slightly dull. But you've got a great list there including names that I would necessary class as a nickname such as Olive and Stella for example.

Other nicknames Evie, Effie, Delphi, Rosie, Callie, Carly, Carrie, Jules, Vivi, Livy, Tabby, Winnie, Mina, Miri, Lulu, Lula

My mind has now gone blank!!

I love Etta for a girl! And Its in my top 5 so it might actually get used! ( if i ever have a girl)

I think some names sounds too young when they are nicknames ie. Maggie but some are absolutly fine to use on their own!

Out of you list here are the ones I think dont need to be a nickname for anything and can stand on their own...

    Ada
    Belle
    Bella
    Celia
    Cara
    Delia
    Eve
    Hattie
    Ivy
    Ida
    Kay
    Kate
    Lillie
    Lola
    Lottie-LOVE this one
    Lettie
    Laurie
    Mae
    Marie
    Olive
    Stella
    Sadie
    Willa

The others are nice too But I prefer them AS nicknames!
    boys names drive me crazy!
