I love word names too. They're so magical. But I love them in the middle with a more usable first name. I think a lot of these are usable though. I know people with most of these names actually. :P
I know people named:
Sparrow -- 1 girl
Skye -- boys and girls
Violet -- this ones pretty popular
Ember -- We considered this one
Melody -- 1 girl
Snow -- middle name to a girl I know
Winter -- 2 boys and a girl
Sage -- a boy
Jade -- a boy and a girl
Edit to say that my name (with my maiden name) was Angel Starr Cash. I had three word names. :P The worst comment I ever got (and it wasn't that bad) was "Is that your birth name?" I'm planning on using several word names:
Willow (already used it)
And I have a long list of word names I think would make cool middles (including things like Fife and Glimmer and Gossamer).

I think word names would be awesome mn's. You should consider that. It might make them less of guilty pleasures and more of a real possibility.EXPECTING OUR FIRST, A GIRL, IN MAY 2016.
