    I think they're both fine, particularly Ebba. I've never heard it before and I think it's lovely. It also reminds me of ABBA, which gives it brownie points in my book.

    I like Ebba. It makes me think of Emma and I really like that name.

    I love Astrid personally. Triddy would be a cute nn. Ebba reminds me of Abba. I don't really foresee any teasing-- it's just unusual. I prefer Etta.

    I think Astrid and Ebba would both work just fine in an English-speaking country. They wouldn't be that out of place in my part of the US.

    Astrid is alright I just don't like the sound. Ebba sounds nicknamey to me but that just could be because it is similar to my name. I don't think a child would be teased though.
