    middle name for Seamus

We like middle names that honor family, but the only people I can think of that I'd like to honor are my brother James (but Seamus is a form of James, so that would be a redundant middle name) and my husband's uncle Tom (but Seamus Thomas sounds pretty silly). So, at this point I'm just looking for any suggestions of middle names that would work with Seamus. Ideas?

I like Seamus Jack, the J could honor James or you could look at his middle name or other variants

My brother's middle name is Michael, which definitely works (because it works with everything!), but it seems pretty generic. It was my grandma's father's name, though, so it does have significance. Uncle Tom's middle name was Aquinas (yes, Thomas Aquinas - DH's family is super Catholic), so that's not really an option.

Neither Andrew nor Connor are my cup of tea, but thanks anyway.

Well, why not Seamus Niall? I think it has a nice enough flow, and it is an awesome pairing. Other suggestions:

    Owen
    Riordan
    Lorcan
    Ciar
    Earnan
    Lonan

    To honor Thomas:

    Tamerlane
    Raphael Benedict-Charles Igantius-Jude Sebastian-Eli Augustine-Samuel Damian

    Lucia Marguerite-Genevieve Ophelia-Maura Francesca

    Charlotte-Freya-Elisabet-Haidée-Afton-Ishmael-Matthias-Farrow-Crispin-Percy
