    Avery is now 81 percent female and becoming more so all the time. I know this does not bother some people and that's great, but since you wanted a cowboy name, you might prefer a name that's a bit more masculine. And as you say, having a girl cousin with the same name could only make things more awkward.

    People have suggested a lot of great names. Doing a search through all the names on the unisex page might lead you to something interesting. How about Everett?
