Is this name usable? MN suggestions?
I am compiling a girl name list and I had a few options sorted but then I suddenly came across a new name that I really like but am unsure about how usable it is.
The name is Icy.
I love the name Poet and I think Poet and Icy sound cute together. I would like middle name suggestions (so far I like Ophelia but am open to other suggestions) and opinions on the name Icy, thanks XName lists still under construction

Is it usable: yes.
Will she get comments on her name: definitely.
Will people make jokes: probably.
To me it sounds very much like "I see".
Personally I'm not too fond of the name, as it is not a "word name" to me but only a word. However that's my opinion. Poet while not my style, I find it kind of pretty and way more usable - it's less "weird". However if you love the name Ophelia makes a great middle name (even though I'd like it better in the first name spot, it works).
What I like about the -y ending is that you can choose all the wonderful names ending in "a"for the middle position

I see it as more of a nickname. I believe it originated as a nickname for Isis.
