I'm also having a hard time believing they actually can hold you. Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I'd call my attorney just to find out my rights and the validity of their threats.
Anyway, back to the names. I was going to suggest Archer to begin with, but his list of vetoes IS quite puzzling for a man who wants a hunting/outdoors themed name. Alright, here goes...
Bruce (as in Robert the Bruce...if that isn't manly with Scottish significance, I don't know what is!)
You can also take a look at the Nameberry Super Search at the upper left corner of your screen. Select "Scottish" for the origin of the name, and click the "boy" dot for masculine names, and it will bring up close to 200 names.
It's a girl coming in March!
Dulcinea Liberty Lanz nn "Daisy"

Sorry for repeats:
Beau - as in Bow & Arrow
Orion - giant huntsman whom Zeus placed among the stars as the constellation of Orion
Wesson - as in smith and wesson
Todd - Fox Hunter
Oakley - the hunting gear Mossy Oak
Rocky - as in the hunting boots
Winchester- nn Chester or Chet
These are better as nicknames:

Personally I'd pick Hunter or Archer. I also like Brock and Chase. A couple of other possibilities: Caine, which apparently means "spear hunter"; Holt (this also gets points for a Canadian connection.... Holt Renfrew!)
For a Canuck name, I'd suggest checking out the names of former Prime Ministers.... A lot of Bays, lakes, and rivers with interesting names to consider.... Hudson, James, etc. Lorne was also a great suggestion.
