    A name like Mabel <3

I'm looking for a name to match Mabel. I absolutely love it, head over heels adore! However, OH is only 50/50 on it. We're not having a girl any time soon so we're not rushing tofind a girls name. In fact, we're having a boy in 8 weeks But I am always working on my name list, so...

Our issue is he is 50/50 on Mabel. He does like it, but not enough to actually use it. Could I have suggestions for names of similar feels? So maybe I can fall in love with a similar name, and maybe he'll like a similar one too. It could be other "Mae" names, or completely unsimlar sounds. Anything is fine.

Thanks so very much for all input!

I have always thought of Mabel, Sybil and Edith as a trio. I think the all fit into the category of short, two-syllable, no-nonsense vintage names.

I personally don't like Mabel. I just don't get the appeal. I would rather see:

    Mae
    Corinna
    Celia
    Eliza
    Matilda
    Susannah
    Margaret
    Margot

I like quite a few suggestions, including: Mavis, Maeve, Amabel, Eloise, Hattie, Violet, Edith, Eliza, and Margaret are all very lovely! I know OH wouldn't like a couple, but hopefully he'll like SOMETHING. I don't love any as much as Mabel, but hopefully something will grow on me
