    Nadine pronunciation/thoughts?

What do you guys think of it/would you pronounce it nay-deen or nuh-deen? I had only heard the 'nay' pronunciation (I grew up with the show Arthur haha) but when I looked up the Nameberry description for it, it said it was pronounced 'nuh'. Does it sound particularly French/Russian or has it been americanized?

North American here, and only ever heard nay-deen in the US, although I know Spanish speakers who say nuh-deen and it sounds pretty, too. I love Nadine. I don't think it sounds too foreign at all. It's one of those lovely names that sounds wonderful all over the world.

Nay-deen. I knew an adorable little girl with this name. So now, I love it!

I love Nadine! I think it's really gorgeous and underused. I pronounce it nah-DEEN. That's just me. But I think this name is super pretty.
