Smile Newbie looking for Berry's opinions

    Hello Berries,

My baby is due in 3 weeks (gonna be a surprise, so have to have both girl and boy name) and hubby and I still haven't decided on a boys name! So many good ones, but yet, so hard!
We have two we love for a girl, that was easy

I lean toward romantic type boys names, and hubby is coming around. Can I get your options on the following?
Oh and the middle name is going to be Hunter (hubbys grandfathers name), which does rule out certain names. For example I had Abel and Angel on the list. Not so great with Hunter...

Julian Hunter (We both keep leaning toward this, but hubby concerned a bit to feminine...)
    Desmond Hunter
Dylan Hunter (hubby keeps pushing Dylan, but I feel a tad too common)
    Kaiyan Hunter
Tristan Hunter (I like Tristan, but hubby doesn't for some reason )

Any other suggestions that you feel are similar to the above would be much appreciated!

And my little girls name is Ayla, so hopefully the above sound good with her name

Congrats on your pregnancy and welcome to Nameberry! Here are my thoughts on your boys list. I would eliminate Dylan and Kaiyan because they're too similar to Ayla's name. The remaining names I love in order: Julian, Tristan and Desmond. You seem to like boys names that end in "n" so here are some other suggestions.

    Donovan
    Griffin
    Cassian
    Theron
    Brendan
    Octavian
    Lachlan
    Sullivan
    Rowan
    Quinlan
    Finnigan/Finnian
    Lorcan
    Soren
    Colin
    Calvin
    Bronson
    Damian/Damon
    Dorian
    Caspian
    Nolan
    Orion
    Tobin
    Quentin
    Florian
    Easton
    Silvan
    Sebastian
    Auberon/Oberon
    Brennan
    Orson
    Ronan
    Struan
    Stellan

    Other

    Armand
    Cassius
    Amadeus
    Gareth
    Felix
    Edmund
    Graham
    Dermot
    All the best,
    Mischa.

My favorite from your list is Julian Hunter. I don't think it is feminine sounding, but a similar alternative would be Julius.

Dylan Hunter seems very common, and Dylan is very close to Ayla. Desmond and Tristan are not my taste. Kaiyan seems kre8ive, but that's just me.

    I suggest:
    Ezra Hunter
    Matteo Hunter
    Stefan Hunter
    Romeo Hunter
    Alaric Hunter
    Cassius Hunter // Cassian Hunter
Mom to Dempsey, Jude, & Hudson
    Expecting a surprise this December

Julian Hunter- this has always felt a bit too feminine for me/
Desmond Hunter- Love it, but not with Ayla.
    Dylan Hunter- Much too common.
Kaiyan Hunter- Are you Chinese-American? I know a Kaiyan who is Singaporean Chinese... A bit strange with Ayla.
Tristan Hunter- I like it, but it is becoming quite common.

    What about...
Evren- Close to Evan, but it is Turkish (which fits with Ayla).
Cormac Hunter- A bit different, just like Ayla... but still easily recognizable.
Kian- A more recognizable form of Kaiyan. Keane, Kieran, Killian, Caelum, and Keegan are all a bit more acceptable forms.
Caspian- Just cool, and a bit more sensitive like Julian... but I worry Julian would get mixed up with Julianne.
    Malcolm- Same style as Desmond.
    Emiliana Pari Debuts July 2014
    Soren Pasha, Caspian Bardia, Raphael
    Camellia, Valentina
