A Sister for Cordelia & Hermione..........

If number 3 is a little pink one then we are really umming & ahhing as to what to call her ? honest opinions/sugestions please x

    We already have:

Cordelia Evelyn (Dilly) & Hermione Scarlett (Mimi).

So we could go further down the Shakesphere route or follow the greek route.....

If she is like our our 2 little ladies in personality they are both very confident & roughy toughy! so names like Violet wouldn't be on our list.

Love names that can be shortened & these are some of our favourites

    Antigone (Tiggy/Aggy nn)
Persephone (but don't like Percy as a nn)
    Cecily
Constance (but don't like connie as a nn)
    Ottilie (Otti for a nn?)

    Thoughts, suggestions pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase xx

    love your names.

You really cant go wrong with any of your pics. The only one I would hesitate is Antigone. Love the nn Aggy though. do you like Agnes?

from your list Persephone and Ottilie are my favorites. Sephy and Ottie/ or Otty as nicknames are adorable.

good luck. love your taste (:

Congrats to you and welcome to Nameberry! I like all of the five names on your list but there are issues with them. Antigone, Persephone, Cecily and Ottilie all end in the same way as Hermione and Cecily and Constance share an initial with Cordelia. If that doesn't bother you then Cecily is my favourite among them. Cordelia and Hermione are not only Shakespearean and Greek mythological names but they also have a British vibe as well as vintage flair so I don't think you should limit yourself to just the two styles. Also, we don't know what kind of person each child will become so I wouldn't dsimiss names like Violet from your list. Here are some other suggestions from a variety of styles. I hope one jumps out at you!

Keep them comming ladies x thank you for the suggestions so far.

Just to add that we are from the UK & names that are very popular over here at the moment which we want to steer well clear of are things like
Ava, Freya, Isla, Poppy, Olivia, Amelia etc....

Beatrice was the runner up for Cordelia but typically we have 3 close friends who all have named their children Beatrice so sadly it's a no go now
