Clementine is lush, but even though she's talked about all the time on nameberry, I don't think in the real world Clementine will rise in popularity she just doesn't seem to fit in the vibe of popularity. Clementine doesn't mix in with the likes of Isabella and Madison. She doesn't have the fashionable sound, the go to middle name, and you can't imagine a large group of babies from all backgrounds being called Clementine. I don't think it rise so don't panic.
But here are some back up names for the darling Clementine:

I totally feel the same way about Clementine's future popularity. I feel like it already seems more familiar than other names used with the same frequency. It is on my list and I'm not sure if these are your style but they are some others on my list, most of which have nature connections (they're in order of popularity so I included the number of girls given each name in 2012):
Roseline/ Rosaline "Rosie" (11/ 12, Rosie 221)
Olympia "Oly" (28)
Marguerite "Maple" (67, Maple 36)
Theodora "Teddy" (67)
Shoshana (94, Shoshanna 14)
Frances/ Francis (359/ 43, 427 boys)
Rosemary "Rosie" (470)
Hazel (1768, peaked between 1915-1920)Mom to 2 girls ♥ Bayard McConnell "Bay" & Marguerite Davis "Maple"

I don't think Clementine is ever going to be a top name, but she's pretty well liked. When I got my kitten last winter, I asked for name feedback on Facebook. At the time, we thought Oleander was a girl, and Clementine and Pandora were names we were considering, and they both topped everyone's charts. Hypatia got NO love, but everyone on FB was raving about Clem and Pandora. I mean, just nuts over those names. I was surprised. Granted, most people are a little more adventurous with a pet, but I still think Clementine is going to rise.
You already have a lot of good fall back options in this thread, let me see if I can think of any others.
