Irene, whoops! It's so hard to keep name nerds from talking about names
When I lived in Alicante, every other guy I met was an Italian named Luca… there was a blonde Luca, Luca-with-the-scarf, curly-haired Luca, other Luca, and not to mention Gianluca. There are some lovely Italian names out there!
My hair turned out very dark, basically black, and I cut bangs last night too… I'm actually really happy with how everything turned out, considering I did it all myself.
My eyes are "olive green", so there's no blue in them at all. I got inspiration from this pic on pinterest: http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/73...243522ff15.jpg so I feel a little better about colouring because I'm so pale in the winters after getting used to dewey, bronzey, tanned looks in the summer.
I think I'm going to go for purple and green for my room! I changed my vanity last night and it looks awesome, so things are coming along.
I totally know what you mean about renting and not being able to change things. Oh well, one day we'll have our own places!
Renrose, your room sounds amazing! That gives off such a warm and quaint vibe. Love it! I'd love to see pictures once you're doneLucia

Yeah, apostles' names are pretty common. Or saints' names. And now Francesco after the Pope. Some names are great, I agree, but I just can't see myself naming a child with an Italian name. I know, weird, right? Anyways...
I'm pretty sure it worked out alright. I'm pretty pale-skinned myself, no matter how much time I spend outside, so I'd die for a little tan. And in winter it's even worse...
I agree with Lucia here, Ren. Your room sounds pretty inspiring. We'll be waiting for the results...
By the way, just to say random things about myself I bought a notebook to record all the things I should be grateful for this year. I was inspired by a person who told me she puts little notes in a jar and then at the end of the year she re-reads them. I did my own version of the "grateful jar" in a notebook. I'm a little late, I know, but I have the douchebag jar a-la New Girl in my uni apartment, I had to have a grateful jar too. I couldn't help myself when I saw the quote on the notebook, honestly: "A writer should write with his eyes, a painter paint with his ears". I'll keep this notebook as a New Year resolution, I guess. Do you people have weird jars like these?Irene; Name lover in her twenties; single; Languages student by day, writer by night.
