Usable As First Names OR Quirky Middle Name Choices?
Hi Berries, I thought I would share some interesting names I've discovered (or rediscovered) while perusing the internet or reading. These are names that have either been borne by real people in the past or they were in one of my numerous baby name books. Many of them are virtue/word names or surnames. I have three questions for you Berries: (1) Which ones do you think would be still be usable as proper names? (2) Which ones would only make quirky middle name choices and (3) Which names should remain guilty pleasures or should be tossed in the bin never to see the light of day again? It's your call.

Some nice and interesting names on here. In general, the ones I don't think have easy pronunciations I'm putting in the middle.
Dacre (DAY-kur) -- Middle name -- I wouldn't know how to pronounce this
Chapin (CHAY-pin) -- Middle name -- I would have said it like it looks
Ochre (o-kur) -- Middle name -- I actually like it a lot, but I don't think it's a usable first name
Gallant -- Middle name -- for a boy I'd think but I wouldn't want Gal as a nn
Kimbrough -- First name -- it's a quirky first name choice ^_^
Mindwell -- GP -- I'm unsure here. I feel like Mindwell is sort of mean to stick on a girl like you're trying to force obedience on her
Lowry -- First name -- I don't see a thing wrong with it as a first name
Parilee -- Middle name -- This is sort of meh and weird to me. I suppose it could be a first name
Pharaoh -- GP -- I just generally dislike title name but I suppose it could be a middle if you really liked it
Pliny -- Middle name -- I like it but I'm sure plenty of people would say it wrong

Absolute -- Middle name -- Since you love it so much, I'd stick it in the middle
Providence -- GP -- It's just sort of strange as a name
Rejoiner -- Middle name -- I think it would be a neat middle name. It's got a cool sound
Rosewell -- Middle name -- I put it with Penrose (m). It's awesome but I don't think Rose is a good name for a boy. It's not one of those girl-boy names
Savory -- GP -- Putting my mind where a 14-16 year old boy is, can you imagine the sexual innuendo here?
Service -- GP -- again like with Mindwell, it seems strange to give Service as a name
Sinai -- First name -- Interesting sound
Solitude -- GP/Middle -- I think it's got a nice sound but I've always feel like Solitude is saying they shouldn't have friendship or something
Spaulding -- Middling name -- It makes me giggle and I don't know why
Tinker -- First name -- I think it could be a first name. It's a word name "To tinker with something" and fantasy-like occupation.
Thankful -- Middle name -- I think it would be a sweet middle
Truelove -- Middle name -- It's so corny but sort of sweet
Upshire -- Middle/GP -- I have Shire on my GP middle list
Urthelmine -- Middle name -- Very harsh sounds here
