    I think it's a little much as a first name, sorry. I do like it (obviously, it's on my list), but it feels a little forced as a first. In the middle, it sparks the name up. I think Penn as a whole name sounds just fine. Maybe Aspen or Spencer if you want something longer?

    I'd only use it as a middle. I know an adult Pendragon who goes by Penn, and he still gets a lot of stick for his name.

    Thanks for the opinions and suggestions everyone. I do think it would be a wonderful middle. I do have an association with Aspen, I knew one as a kid and she was a girl. I could never see it on a boy.

    I think it's wearable as a fn. I put it in the same category as other long names that many consider too much, like Beauregard, Maximilian, and Aloysius
