    Shay-da. I don't care for the name because I see "shady" when I look at it. I much prefer Shana.
    I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.

    I read the name as Shad-da. That's how an East End Londoner would pronounce 'shadow', and now that's all I can hear when I say the name to myself. Sorry!

    It makes me think of the name Sharda because I know someone with that name. It's an ok name!

    I knew a Sharah, which is pretty. Shayda is a better spelling than Shada to make clear the pronun.
