Not a big fan of either name, but Audrey is better. Perhaps Adrianna (Addy)?

I prefer Audrey as I think the name is more classic and old Hollywood due to the Audrey Hepburn association.
However, due to it being the name of your ex-aunt and the fact that your husband is 'subconsciously' (or purposely) calling her the B version of the name... I would just throw in the towel and go with Aubrey.
They're both similar enough names for me and Aubrey is a name with history behind it as well, though more a a male name.

I really love Audrey, but I like Aubrey as well. I would ask your husband if he would prefer Aubrey and go from there.

eh, Addy is so overdone. Plus I feel like names ending in anna are too frilly.
