    Family Tree Finds

Did lots of research thinking I might find some interesting names in our family trees but aside from the usual John and William or Anna and Elizabeth I pretty much only found some strange names. What do you think, would you use any of these.

    Emil
    Wallace
    Ellis
    Fritz
    Frederick
    Morris

    Mabel
    Virgie
    Lula
    Lindy
    Lina
    Luisa
    Viola
    Hazel
    Edda
    Cecile
    Belle

and Princess (seriously). Wow. Just Wow.

I would use Ellis for a girl, actually. Morris is not bad for a boy.

Luisa, but spelled Louisa, is high on my list (variation on a family name, plus a nod to Louisa May Alcott). Hazel and Mabel are NB favorites. Virginia (nn Virgie?) is very usable, and Lina actually works too.
Current favorites: Olive, Louise/Louisa, Magdalene/Madeline, Phillipa, Talitha, Mallory, Blythe, Eliza, Mercy, Talia; Calvin, Charles, Gideon, Abram, Jude, Reuben, George, Reid, Clark, Holden.

Princess is a common enough name in the UK.

I actually love Emil (alternately spelt Emile- the spelling I prefer)
