What do you guys think of Julius Benedict? Hubby said he likes that a lot and I like it too. Is it weird to use two -us names though? I mean, people use names ending in all -n or all -a all the time. Is this any different?

Well, Julius Benedict sounds great together and both are great names.

Julius Maximus sounds a bit like a Roman governor. Does it bother you to think about calling their names together? Would you call Julius a nn? Do you always call Maximus Max?

Good point and no, he's always Maximus but that could change when he gets his own opinions of it. What about Benedict James? What other nicknames can you think of besides Ben? Bene is cute.

Well, Benedict is my #1 name, so I'm definitely in favor of that one. I've always wanted to name a son Ben, but there's also Ned, Ed, Bean is cute Even Dick or Bic if you're valiant. And Edict!
