    A sister for Ivy

Hi, we are searching for the perfect name for our second little girl, who is due this Christmas, and will be a sibling to Ivy Grace. As she will have a double-barrelled surname, we would prefer as short a name as possible, preferably 3-5 letters. We prefer feminine, vintage-y names that are reasonably unique but not too 'out there'.

Our short list so far includes:

    Leila
    Lola
    Lula
    Flora
    Tess
    Bea

For a middle name, we'd like something simple and classic (preferably one-syllable) such as Jane or Mae.

What do you prefer, and are we missing any great names?

    Thanks so much!

I love your short list, they are all beautiful names. I think Flora makes a perfect sister to Ivy. A few of my favorite short names are Rose, Mae, Claire, Vera, Neve and Lane.

Thanks so much for these great suggestions! Nice to see some agreement on Flora. Our only concern with it is that it is a popular brand of margarine in the UK... I love Ada, Ida and Mia but we have close friends or family with those names, so they sadly won't work.
