    Thank you. Although the poll was 50/50, I am tending towards Rosamond for exactly the same reasons. Hubby likes Emmeline, for it being a bit lighter.
    But this thread has assured me ghat I am on the right track

    Would you be pronouncing Emmeline with -leen or -line? Do you pronounce Rosamund with the 'Rose'- or 'Roz' sound?

    Such a hard decision, all three names are on my favorite list! I am going with Matilda Rosamund, I think it has a great sound. Really though you couldn't go wrong with either of those middles!
