Thread: Smush Names
September 11th, 2013 03:42 PM #1
I've kept this list of smush names in my phone and wanted to share them just in case anyone is looking for one.
Some of these I'd use and some I wouldn't.
Zoelle "zoh elle"
Evalyse (not really a smush, oh well) "ee-vuh-lease"
Sophine (again, not a smush) "so-feen"
Gianelle (I think this is an actual name that is supposed to be pronounced like Jenelle, but upon first sight I thought it was "Gia Nelle" which I like better)
If you have some, then feel free to add.

Honestly, I saw Jerry Parisella's name the other day and though... I like the name Parisella.
I know this name follows several trends - place name, smoosh names, last name used as a first name... But I still really like it.I like distinct, memorable, exotic and preferably non-popular names. The kids with unique names wore them so well when I was younger and never got lost in the crowd.
