    Yes the are very close especially if you have another child and have 2 -ana's... the other one may feel left out/look unplanned without it.

    That being said if what they will be referred to at home are Ellie and Aria, I would go for it. I've known Michelle and Danielle as sisters and they got through life quite fine. Some parents love matchy names.

    I thought about suggesting Elliana and Ariella but they look just as matchy as you replaced the -ana with an 'ell'.
