    Leah?

    Hi!
Could Leah (lee-ah) be a nickname for Eleanor?
I'm thinking of changing my nickname.

    Thanks,
    Ellie. Xx

Why not? Lea definitely could and Leah would make the pronunciation easier for others

Sure. I would probably spell it Lea just because the letters are there, but it's totally up to you.

I think Lea would definitely work as a nn for Eleanor. I do like it better without the H, just for the sleeker feel, but if the softness of the H is what you like, go for it

Other nn ideas for Eleanor: Elle / Ella / Ellen, Nell, Lena, Nora, and Nola.
