    I prefer Simeon, but I like the flow of Zephaniah Nelson more. Plus, Zeph is so cool! I think Simeon still gets my vote, though--I just love it too much!

    The good news is that I don't think you can go wrong with either....

    However I would anticipate Simean causing lots of problems due to it's similarities to apes and also Simon; your poor son might have to correct lots of people on his name spelling.

    Zeph is such a nice nickname, it reminds me of Zephr. It sounds very 50s and fabulous and I like that it has a formal name and cute nickname.
