    Pronunciation of Elle?

Elle - is it said ell-uh, ell-ee or ell?

    Are there any different pronunciations?

I've been wondering this since I joined Nameberry.

    Thanks!

It's the French word for 'she', pronounced 'ell'.

As a name, I've only ever heard it pronounced like the letter L (el)
If you want ell-uh, use Ella, and if you want ell-ee, use Ellie.
