    Brooklyn Playground B/G sibset

Today we met a baby, Iggy and his older sister, Ruth. I really wanted to ask if Iggy was short for something, but they were clearly with Nanny, not Mom, so I didn't bother!

Now I am curious if Iggy stood for something. Cool nickname for sure!

I know! Ignatio or Ignatius would be a pretty wild choice, Igor I am less keen on cause of the emphasis on -gore. They were white/English speaking hipster-children so all of these options feel daring, especially paired with Ruth! I always hear the best names at the playground in Williamsburg!

I am going to imagine that it is a nickname for Ignatius, I think that it would be pretty darn cool to meet a little boy with that name.

I think it was Ignatius as mentioned above, I work with an older man who simply goes by Ig.
