Charlie is so over used and Charley has the same sound, granted the spelling is a fresh alternative but in all honesty I dislike this spelling, Charley feels like a nickname for Charlotte in all honesty. Murphy is cool but I dislike how she works with Mitchell. Mitchell despite being your surname is at a disadvantage with Murphy because they are basically too very Scottish surnames pulled together to make a combination. It's odd. Therefore Lennon is my favourite. Lennon has a fresh inspiring sound and looks intriguing. Lennon Mitchell is a great naming combination. I also love the Lenny nickname, it has a cute retro vibe.

Lenny Mitchell sounds great. I like vc2013's suggestion of Lennox too. And I'm also a big fan of the name Leon which you could use Lenny as a nn. Might not be your style though, just an idea.
Charles is a handsome, more serious name. I don't like Charley as a given name but it's a good nn.
I too don't mind alliteration & Murphy Mitchell sounds quite funky to me.
