    It reminds me of that girl in Glee, played by Melissa Benoist, and of course, the dog. But I still think it's a beautiful name.

    I feel like most of the -ie ending names don't age very well. Marlene or Marlena nn Marley are more my style. I think so many more dignified feeling names or name combos could easily nickname their way to Marley. Even Marla feels more sophisticated & versatile to me.
