    James Gabriel would be nice.

G names in general would work well.

    James Gregory
    James Gordon
    James Gavin
I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.

I don't think you necessarily have to rule out the very handsome James Patrick. My son is James Philip and even though his nickname is Jay no one ever calls him J.P. (Perhaps because of the pope, but for me J.P. is John Paul and would feel strange.) My kids will call him Jay-Jay some which I think is because he's a toddler and Jay-Jay sounds cute.
Mom to Paul, Clare, Mark, Katharine, James, and Andrew
    Current list of favorites:
Girls: Caroline, Emily, Grace, Mary-Grace, Lucy, Lydia, or Theresa
Boy: Gabriel, John, Jude, Luke, Nicholas, Peter, or Thomas
