Quite honestly, yes. I do roll my eyes when I see Braham. It feels like someone just wanted to be "unique" and give their child a creative spelling of Bram.

I pronounce it both BRAY-um and like Abraham without the A, so "bruh-ham".

I was seeking honesty or I wouldn't have even asked.

    Thanks.

Bray-um, maybe. Honestly, I think you can(and should) go with Abraham, save Braham for nickname.

All of this. It's one of those things that I think for me, the pronunciation gets even more confusing the more I look at it. I could pronounce it Bray-um, Bruh-ham, or Bram, and I wouldn't know which one to choose. Seriously, Abraham, Abram, or just Bram are all much better choices IMO.

I really appreciate the input. Braham was an idea that arose and evolved from my desire to see Bram pronounced a specific way. I almost certainly would never use it, I was simply exploring it as an option. Honestly, my preferences lean more toward Abram or Abraham.

    Thanks!
