    My top three are:

    Peter
    Henry
    Luke

Do you need help with combinations as well? Your list could make some great pairings.

    Henry
    James
Lukas (DH is eastern-euro so 'k' spelling is correct for us, & our preference)
    Oliver

Love your list. I like them because they are classic and masculine without being overly common (where I live).

All such inspiring insight, thank you.

Peanut - funny you should say Oliver brings an image of big brown eyes. We all see names in different lights don't we . I would be inclined to agree with you as I'm picturing brown eyed Oliver just now.

*though almost certainly my little boy will have blue eyes! And most likely blonde hair. I don't know if that would change anything in terms of your name order, ...?

Looking through I still adore James & surprisingly he has had the most no.1 spot votes. I just worry how many other James he will meet even though I only really know 2-3 for what seems like a very widely used name. I love Lukas & it's versatility to allow me to also use Luke & Luka from the same name however I may choose. Henry, Peter, Matthew have equal charm & Miles has a certain swaga... Oh it's so very hard to narrow them down but I really must otherwise I'll be just as confused come crunch time... Eek
