    I think Ursula is fine to use, it makes me think of Ms Andress before Ms Octopuss.
    Cruella as others have said is a play on "cruel" so will never sound nice. For me, these names have been hijacked;

    I don't find Ursula to have a negative connotation. I think it's actually kinda versatile and quite beautiful.

    Cruella just SOUNDS terrible. I don't really feel this should ever be used, as it even has the word cruel in it.

    Love Ursula, but Esme sounds evil to me because of a tv cartoon series (I think it was a Disney creation, as well).
