    Magical middle names for Kana?

I am looking for something beautiful to match first name Kana (kah-nuh). But it's hard trying to pair a name that ends in A that is also short in number of letters. My last name is one syllable, so I feel like I need a long middle name for everything to balance right.

I like old fashioned names like Matilda, Edith, and Alice and so forth, but none of those sound right with Kana for me. I'm looking for something magical. Thinking artsy word names, nature, mythological heroines, etc.

Can you guys suggest any names with this criteria?

    Magic quality
    ▣ 2+ syllables
    ▣ Doesn't end in A.

    Thanks!!

jem: Thanks! These are generally more toward the old-fashioned side of names rather than magic in my view, but I don't mind Penelope or Hermione. Hermione is really nice as a suggestion.

sorceress: Thanks! I like Olivine, Ellisiv, Flannery, Marigold, Ceridwen, and Morrigan.
