    It was one of our top three at the hospital, but I couldn't imagine calling him just Thatcher with no nn as Teddy is already taken in our circle. I wouldn't worry about little kids mangling it...that happens with many words!

    Don't worry about it my sisters Adele gets just Dell and I get Ebby. Don't worry they grow out of it.

    It's just a question of how much it bothers you. Fat-cher isn't bad, like some other names said by children sound. But if it is going to bother you then it is a reason to reconsider.

    I agree that kids will grow out of it, but Fat-cher is pretty bad!

    I don't think it's that much of a problem, he'll grow out of it.
