    Help?

    Hi again nameberries
I´ve hit a problem here, I am Scandinavian and my fiancee is American (Texas), and therefor we have different ways to prounounce names. I´m a huge fan of names, and he is mostly okai with my choices, but here´s my problem; my family. They are not as well versed in the English langauge as I, and I fear that they will have a hard time with the names we´ll eventually choose. Do you have any suggestions for Scandinavian friendly names? They do not have to be Scandinavian, but not too obscure though (but go ahead with them if you like!) Thank you!!!

I'm an American who spent some time in Finland...some names that I encounter in both cultures are Christian/Christina, Rita, Annika, Annaliese, Ava/Eva, Nicole/Nicoline, Matt/Matti, George, Alex, Nicholas. Probably any Biblical names will be most familiar to both sides of the family.

I think these might work too:

Girl: Linnea, Luna, Mila, Noa, Nina, or Sasha
Boy: Arlo, Eli, Ian, Luca, Nico, or Sam
